Christmas and new Year

Christmas was exciting and interesting. I caught the flu on that friday night/saturday morn while at work. I had to go home and it didn't get any better after until about 830 that morn. I got a call from Tim saying that we would be going to Dayton to Traders world and he would be there in 20 mins with his mother, sister, and niece. How do you tell them no especially this is the first time you will really be meeting the family? So I took it easy all day did the walking and when I got home that evening I crashed until time to go to work. I didnt want to lose my holiday pay for Christmas but I did becuase I was so whipped and worn out that I over slept. So I had to call in. :( On Christmas eve nite Tim and I went to help my sister finish getting her gifts wrapped and ready for Mom and Dad's party. It was fun and Tim really had a great time. This is our first major holiday together. On Christmas day Tim was sick and we still went to his sister's and I met his dad, grandma and 2 uncles. He slept through most of it so I really had to entertain myself. But I had a good time and when I got home my ma was sick and so was my uncle. Ahhh what a time and they say it can be caught again :(
On saturday night(the 30th) I was minding my own business and working when I decided that I needed some excitement. So I tumbled over a pallet and sprung both ankles and hurt my legs. Boy was it a struggle not to cry and stay at work. I couldnt really walk but I was determine to get that new year holiday pay and so I stuck it out. My ankles looked really interesting and talk about wanting to scream when I walked on them. Sunday wasnt much better with them but hey when you are really in need of money and have to work you will try to stick it out so I went to my other job taking care of the special needs kids. We had a party for them and they spent the night. I finally realized that I could have been considered an ol lady the way I hobbled around hahahaha. We cut the evening short but had a "countdown" of our own with party blowers and noisy things. Got them in the beds and it was sleepy time for us workers :) wow they can be sooooooooooooo wound but really fun to take care of.
Well it is New years day and hopefully things will be much smoother than they have been.
I need to go and get some cleaning done and then the rest of the day I will just be lazy hooray :)
