Spring is it really here or

is it winter? I am soooo confused. (I know that isnt really nothing new) I got up to go to work last night and it was snowing. Mom called Saturday from Gatlinburg Tn and she was bragging about not wearing coats and looking at the blooming flowers. We told her to politely shut up for we were upset for not being there. :)

Yes you read it right. Ma and Pa took off on a mini vacation and forgot to check it out with their daughters :)... Of course we would have demanded we must go with them but I guess they knew that and chose to "runaway". I am glad that they can do these little jaunts. It is good to see them able to come back happy and ready to tackle life with a new attitude.

Connie is working part time at the Gardens in St Henry. She is working in the activities and this is something totally new for her. The Gardens is a nursing home. I am excited for her. She also has been helping with the school system in subbing for the mental challenge kids. It is really neat watching her horizons expand in the last few months. Congratulations Connie on your new jobs.

Brenda is still having her good days and bad days. I think she is having more uncomfortable days due to the growing of *JUNIOR* and the bloodclot isnt helping. As the days get closer the excitement is starting to rise because the little man will be here before we know it. To think Connie and I aunts. Ma and Pa going to be grandpa and grandma. Haha that is so funny. And the funniest is having to hear Brenda called mommy. Brenda and Jason keep changing the first name. The middle name has been written in stone ever since they discussed names. So hopefully a first name will be written in stone by the time he arrives.

well I hope all had a great Easter

Saturday Connie and I went to get

the stuff for the election on Tuesday. She and I were supposed to be presiding judges for the precincts assigned to us. The one lady that would be working with Connie had said that she didnt want the headaches and responsibilities and so Denise had Connie doing it. After we sworned in like good girls we went to get our stuff and the lady that didnt want to do it so graciously had come and got the stuff. So Connie sworn in for nothing. HAHAHAHA... Tuesday proved to be an interesting day. I have never worked the primary and so I was amazed at the comments again made at the election. I dont understand some of their ideas but if that made them feel better on how they wanted to cast the vote then so be it. I thought it was comical when a husband/wife duo came in and whispered what party they were voting for so the other wouldnt be upset at them. They wanted to cancel out the vote of the spouse, or just plain didnt really know who to vote for so they chose this way. The weather was just plain terrible and I was glad to finally get home and I think Connie was as well. She had farther to drive back home but did make it all in one piece.

Monday we had pics taken at church and it felt really weird that Brenda wasnt in them but she was having a bad day and couldnt come. So the family is without one. She still has her good days but it seems to be alot of bad when the blood clot has a burning feeling in her leg. The little one so far seems to be doing good physically and that is a blessing.

This weekend Ma, Pa, Connie and I were going away. Nope cant do that because the snow thought that it would be fun to strand us in our little town... I had taken vacation days and was really excited about leaving. So instead Tim came over and we had a date I guess you would call it. We went to Walmart, had pizza, and shot the breeze until he decided he better head back to Bryant, Indiana before he got snowed in.

I will write more later...
